Mulia resort is an acclaimed resort in Bali, and for good reason. It boasts a beautiful private beach and recreational area, along with an architecture style like no other. From a distance, the resort looks like the famous Balinese temples, but once you get a little closer you can see that they have spun the traditional into modern through uses of materials and clever integration of traditional geometries. I was really in awe by the whole thing. Not to mention, it is MASSIVE. There are huge spaces within the resorts, that does not really have a particular function, except for being a grand space. We spent a couple days in the resort itself (not even leaving), just to explore it and really appreciate all the things that were going on in it.
Hopefully, the last couple photos can give you guys a better idea of what I was talking about in terms of Balinese architecture and also, the Balinese art culture.
